I work it out from how many processes the system covers, how many integrations it involves and what state your data is in. That last one is usually the surprise. You get the quote split into stages with an effort estimate, so you can see what you are paying for now and what can wait.

A smaller internal tool four to eight weeks, a larger company system three to six months. I ship in stages: the first version you can genuinely use arrives before everything else is finished.

Yes. I regularly connect ERPs (Money, Pohoda, K2, SAP), accounting and warehouse systems, Active Directory and SSO, payment gateways and third-party APIs. Where no API exists, I find a way to get the data out without touching a system that works for you.

I plan for that from the start, because rewriting it in two years costs more than doing it properly now. The architecture carries more users, more data and more integrations; on larger projects I handle scaling, caching and monitoring straight away rather than once it gets slow.

The code is yours. I hand over documentation and infrastructure access, and train your team. I do not work with vendor lock-in, so someone else can take the project over at any point, and if that happens it is not a problem.

I sign an NDA and stick to your security policies. I work with your IT on deployment, access, backups and operating rules. If you have code review in place, I go through it like anyone else.
