01What does setting up CI/CD and infrastructure cost?
Infrastructure design starts from €400, migration of existing solutions from €1,200. For new applications, infrastructure setup is included. I'll provide an exact quote after consultation.
02How long does it take to set up CI/CD?
A basic CI/CD pipeline takes two to four weeks. A full migration to the cloud takes two to six months, depending on how many systems move and what state they are in.
03Do I need to understand it to keep it running?
No. Monitoring and alerting are set up so that you hear about an incident without reading logs. Anything that needs hands-on work is mine.
04What if I already have infrastructure but it's not working well?
That is more common than building from scratch. I go through the existing setup and write up what to address: missing monitoring, manual steps that can be automated, and capacity you pay for but do not use.
05Do you provide monitoring and maintenance?
Yes. I set up monitoring and alerting, and then keep the service running within an agreed response time. I am not watching dashboards around the clock, but an outage reaches me automatically.
06How do I know it paid off?
Before the work I write down what running the system costs today and how often you release. Afterwards the same numbers can be compared: the monthly infrastructure bill, the number of outages and the time from commit to production.
