How is this different from the ChatGPT we already use?
A general chat is a tool for individuals and everyone uses it differently. A bespoke tool knows your process, works with your data, files the output where it belongs, and can be operated by someone who does not understand AI. You also get visibility into what happens with company data.
What happens when the model gets it wrong?
We plan for it. On anything with a financial impact the tool prepares the case and a person confirms it. Elsewhere we score accuracy on real samples and set a threshold where the tool asks for review instead of guessing.
Which models do you use?
Commercial models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, chosen per task by capability, cost and data requirements. I build so the model can be swapped, because today's best one will not be best in a year.
What does it cost to run?
Infrastructure plus model usage based on the volume of documents processed. You get an estimate against your own numbers before development starts, as part of the audit.
Will it cope with our exceptions?
Exceptions are usually the reason an off-the-shelf product falls short. We go through them during analysis and decide which the tool should cover and which are cheaper left to a person.
Do we have to change our existing systems?
No. The tool connects to what you have through an API or a safe data exchange. The point is to remove work, not add another system to maintain.
